-tiny houses per square foot usually cost more than an actual “normal” sized house in a specific area

-tiny houses are regarded as an ecological contribution and ~ethical~ and ~sustainable~ while people shit on trailer homes

-generally in my own personal experience the same kind of person that lives in a tiny house or talks up tiny houses makes fun or scoffs at people who eat fast food or live in a trailer park lol

-tiny houses glorify living in confined places which is …… poverty for most people

-you still have to buy or rent land for tiny houses which lets people cosplay poverty. ~yes i’m living in a tiny space and making it work~ while they own a plot of land

an interesting read on tiny houses in the UK & how they betray structural inequality, but also, (across other posts) the motivations for some who pursue them are indeed just people struggling to find housing in a shitty market
