hey guys, i’ve been too exhausted to really write about it, but i adopted a new cat! her name is pfanni, she spent the last five years in a shelter and is very shy. she’s a bobtail with a malformed tail and maybe a mild form of dwarfism. she also had cat flu, which manifests as a chronic upper respiratory problem and discharge from her eyes, but it doesn’t bother her much and she’s not infectious or anything. at the moment, she is quite overweight, so i’ve put her on a diet. she still doesn’t come out of her hiding place under the couch much and rarely lets me touch her, but it’s only her fourth day here and she already made a lot of progress! i “found” her by accident and it was love at first sight. something told me that this was the cat that my late sweet cat mitz, who tragically died this february, would want me to have and help. she kinda reminds me of her! i think we will be very happy once she stops trying to bite my fingers off 😅💕
