speaking of spiderman into the spiderverse, have we all cried yet over how miles the artist plays with color representing identity all movie represented in how he debates and wavers on who he wants to be, he doodles different ways of writing his name in his sketchbook and on HELLO MY NAME IS stickers while he tries to leave his mark around the city, but he’s still unsure as his defining art piece literally has his profile empty of color
manifested in his latent superpower, which literally turns him invisible
this almost always triggers on accident during moments of insecurity, which he uses throughout the movie almost always to run away – until the end when he learns to control his powers and uses it for the element of surprise, going from invisible to bursting onto the screen in his spiderman debut with an explosion of color around him, just like his art piece, but this time his profile is finally colored in with a suit style that he designed himself
